| PRIVATE PILOTS LICENCE
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Good knowledge
of the English Language.
- Pass a Third Class
Medical Examination before flying solo.
- Be at least 17
years old at the completion of the course and before flying solo.
A background of mathematics
and physics is helpful although not mandatory.
THE COURSE INCLUDES
- Ground School
on the following theory subjects
- Aircraft Technical
- Aviation Law
- Human Factors
and Performance
- Navigation
- Meteorology
- At least 40 hours
of flying training of which 25 hours are dual instruction with
one of our instructors and 15 hours are solo practice.
- All the books and
material required for the course.
TO OBTAIN THE RATING YOU NEED
- To pass a written
examination on the above mentioned subjects.
- To pass a Flight
Test with a DCA Examiner after passing the written test and completing
the minimum flight hours.
DURATION:
The PPL
can obtained in one month if taken full time. Most people take it
part time and then it takes something like 3 months.

The price of the course
depends on which aircraft you will choose to fly, i.e. 2 seater,
4 seater, aeroplane, or helicopter (if you want a helicopter license).
